Specialty Distribution Organization has an immediate need for a professional hard working individual to sell and service the pharmaceutical and biotech market in North Carolina. Knowledge of upstream or downstream processing including fermentation, separation/filtration, purification, mixers, bioreactors and other related VALIDATED equipment is desirable.

Position could be part time for the ideal candidate with excellent contacts and experience. Will also consider an applications engineer looking to get into sales.

You will work out of your house and be expected to actively engage customers face to face. You will need to technically understand typical unit operations with in the industry suggesting our products when appropriate and assisting customers in specifying, testing and evaluating these technolgoies in both product development and manufacturing arenas. You will call on scientists and engineers in the lab, production engineers in manufacturing as well as upper level managers and directors as projects grow. Some of your sales will be short term sales while most will involve a long term sales cycle and active management at multiple levels with in the organization.

Compensation package is based on experience and includes a base salary plus commission and expenses. Health insurance, 401K and profit sharing are also available.
