Technical Sales Engineer - Amazon Services

WebStore is looking for a highly technical and entrepreneurial professional to help present compelling Amazon product technology that exceeds customer expectations.  We are leveraging Amazon's eCommerce and merchandising technology to build a best-in-class product that enables sellers to easily sell their products through their own branded website, via phone or in-store, backed by the support, selection and expertise that only Amazon can provide.

You will serve as "product expert", representing all aspects of product technology to both the sales team and customer and driving customer requirements and challenges into the product development cycle.

The ideal candidate will posses solid customer facing skills that allow them to drive discussions with external partners and sellers, as well as a technical background to easily interact and give data-driven guidance to the product team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the WebStore Sales team in helping to ensure seller success on the WebStore platform
• Develop and maintain deep familiarity with current and future product features and the capability to serve as an internal and external evangelist
•  Define product requirements for a core development roadmap as learned from sales engagements
• Develop technical content in sales, marketing and onboarding materials
• Analyze market segments, customer base and verticals

Qualifications:

• The right individual will be highly technical and posses 5-7 years of technical sales and implementation--preferably within the ecommerce, retail technology or software industries
• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Bachelor's Degree required. Computer Science or Math background a big plus; working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired
