Technical Sales, Program Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Senior Designer

About the Job

Overview of Positions


Technical Sales is responsible for providing support to the sales organization in biomass gasification.  Specific responsibilities include: developing customer proposals and feasibility studies using sound engineering principles and will interface with the engineering organization during project execution.


Program Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of complex industrial equipment including site installation.  Specific responsibilities include: pre-project feasibility studies, planning within a cross-functional team setting, and leading the team to achieve project objectives.


Senior Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering design and analysis for biomass gasification systems.  Specific responsibilities include: leading all technical aspects of complex industrial equipment projects using sound engineering principles.  Ability to be the subject matter expert for heat transfer, organic chemistry related to biomass gasification, and/or modular design of industrial equipment is highly desired.


Senior Designer is responsible for providing creative and robust design solutions under guidance of the engineers.  Specific responsibilities include: developing alternative design proposals, completing complex design activities with limited engineering direction, constructing 3D models and detail drawings.

Primary Responsibilities (varies slightly by position)


·         Works with customers to understand scope, site, utility and schedule requirements


·         Develops heat and material balances, cost estimates and proposals for customers


·         Proactively identifies and develops new business concepts and carries out feasibility studies


·         Evaluates competitive cost comparisons


·         Design and analysis for biomass gasification


·         Proactively reduces cost while ensuring high quality design are maintained


·         Planning and executing complex industrial equipment systems

·         Understands combustion, gasification, steam generation and power production

·         Proficient computer skills (CAD for project engineer, 3D for designer, MS Project for PM)

Qualifications
