About the Job

Job Purpose:
Computer Solution Support for Pinnacle Computer Services customers.  Technical support onsite, remotely and in our local facility in Evansville.  Employee will be responsible for client support  of applications and computer Environments. 
 
Duties:


Provided response and support at our Evansville Office
Support Customers onsite and remotely by:
* Being familiar with Microsoft technologies;
* Be familiar with Internet, networking, routers, viruses, desktop and network applications;
* Supports customer applications by troubleshooting and resolving desktop/network  issues; responding to and correcting problems;
* Enhances workstation performance by installing upgrades; researching and providing input for new technology; recommending improvements;
* Must be a motivated individual with good organizational skills;
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;
* Maintaining personal (communications) networks.
* Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards;
* Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
* Maintains quality service by following organization standards;
* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications and online web training;

Candidate will be expected to complete or have completed Comptia A + and Network + and Security + certifications (if not already completed).

Skills/Qualifications:

Productivity, Quality Focus, Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange technology, Switching technology, Dell and HP Server Hardware.  SAN Storage Principles, Outlook, technology, System Administration, Network Troubleshooting, Documentation Skills, Technical Zeal, Operating Systems, Reporting Skills Electronics Troubleshooting,   LAN Knowledge, Multi-tasking, On-Call, Networking Knowledge, Network Maintenance, Network Performance Tuning, Network Troubleshooting,   Microsoft Certifications a plus.  Familiarity VMWARE, vMWARE View  MS HyperV, and overall virtualization a definite Asset.  Experience with LabTech, Connectwise and remote support technologies a benefit.  Looking for a proactive candidate that can solve problems for clients in a professional manner.
