Level II Technical Support Engineer.


Objective: Provide high quality Technical Support to BeyondTrust clients, prospects, and internal employees via email and telephone inquiries.  


Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Respond to customer and client emails, phone calls, and internal staff requests in a professional and timely manner adhering to departmental and company guidelines


  • Triage and resolve issues relating to system configurations, user training, errors, connectivity, and application defects


  • On-site presentations to customers when necessary

 


Experience and skill Set::




  • Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering


  • Minimum 5 years experience in a customer support/ technical support role for a software company in a customer facing environment (internal and external)


  • Solid understanding of Windows networking and Active Directory


  • System administration/ support experience in Windows platform NT/2000/2003/XP/Vista


  • Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to clients though demos and proposals


  • Must be flexible and work well as part of a team


  • Configuring and troubleshooting networks


  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)


  • Experience managing a team a plus
