Rapidly growing National Acquirer and Credit Card Processor seeks a Technical Support Representatives to work in our Corporate Headquarters in Melville, New York. This position will report to the Technical Support Supervisor.
There are various shifts available: Fri - Tues 3pm-12am: Wed - Sun 9am-6pm: Wed - Sun 3pm-12am
The successful candidates will provide effective technical support/customer service to all internal and external EVO customers by utilizing trouble shootings skills and in-depth knowledge of company products and programs in a busy call center environment. Ensure the highest level of customer service by building long term relationships between the company and its customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to assist in diagnosing credit card terminal issues, processing of transactions and performing downloads with customers to allow acceptance of credit cards. Individual will interpret and educate customers on certain compliance policies and procedures as well as company products.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of technical support/customer service experience. Basic merchant processing understanding (i.e. terminal types/industry types/front-ends) is preferred but not required. Bilingual a plus. Experience in a busy inbound / outbound call center environment preferred. Self-starter who must be detail oriented. Possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality a must. Good follow-through skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. Ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have a great attitude and be a team player etc. Competent in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office).
Technical support operates in a 24x7 call center environment. Qualified candidates must be able to work weekend and/or evening hours.
