About the Job
Job Summary: Thin Client and Zero Client hardware manufacture is looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist. The specialist will make a best effort to resolve customer hardware and software issues via phone or email, as well as, internal hardware and software issues.
Duties and Responsibilities: -Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. -Research, test, and answer questions and provide solutions to customer problems. -Process and track Return Material Authorizations. -Provide remote training to clients in the use of system and applications. -Maintain customer database including call logs and current customer information. -Escalate complex problems to development and monitor the output to keep the customer informed. -Contribute to hardware and software testing for quality assurance. -Perform other IT related duties, and projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications: -Knowledge of system principles, theories, concepts, and Thin Client, PC, Server and networking technologies. -Organizational skills -Familiarity with the following: SQL, HTML, MS Office, CRM systems, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Linux, Windows Embedded System, Citrix and VMWare. -Excellent English (bi-lingual a plus) verbal and written communication skills, and technical writing, knowledge base article creation is a plus. -Strong attention to detail. -Experience in customer/client facing interaction. -Customer service skills
Educational Requirements: -2 or more years of college education in related concentration and 2 or more years work experiences in related field
