Overview
This person supports the Zenith/LG Authorized Service Centers in diagnosis of electric, electronic, and mechanical problems encountered in the repair of Zenith/LG consumer products.
Responsibilities
Communicate solutions for common problems found in current LG Plasma, LCD, and DVDs to support LG Authorized Service Centers (ASCs).
Support non-authorized servicers in a similar fashion.
Troubleshoot and diagnose less common problems by reading and correctly interpreting service schematics.
Provide updated troubleshooting information for FAQ, a service database for ASCs.
Validate authorization for Parts Department in the replacement of component-level modules.
Qualifications
Associates degree in the Electronic, Electrical or HVAC fields
Or 5 years experience in the related trade. Both degree and experience is preferred.
Be able to read schematics and electrical wiring diagrams proficiently.
Applicant must have strong abilities in component level troubleshooting and ability to relay this over telephone communication.
Applicant must have basic knowledge of desktop software applications such as MS office.
Applicant must have strong communication skills and proficiency with English language.
