Join a team of industry experts at a world-class, state of the art training center in Cranston, RI. 


The Technical Trainer will deliver technical water-based fire protection training on various topics to internal and external trainees. The position is intended to support the fire protection business and/or industry and will gain exposure to various types of fire protection systems utilized within the industry today. 


Present to live audiences utilizing PowerPoint or hands-on training aids

Conduct or coordinate webinars 

Support Learning Management System (LMS) training portal

Update existing presentations and content

Develop new content or update existing training programs

Develop new training aids

Assist with maintaining training programs accreditation

Organize and maintain classrooms and equipment

Evaluate attendees based on performance for the purpose of certification

Support Technical Services team as needed


Strong Presentation skills

Customer focused

Superior written and spoken English communication skills

Strong, positive interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, particularly with respect to managing training programs

Well-versed in MS Office Suite, primarily PowerPoint, Word, & Excel

Minimum 3 years’ experience working within the mechanical industry (HVAC, pipe-fitting, plumbing)

Sprinkler industry experience would be a plus, as well understanding and application of the applicable NFPA standards in regards to water based fire protection
