• Edits and/or proofreads complex technical text and artwork (e.g., online, web-based, hard copy), conceptualizes and negotiates approaches to content structure and design to ensure effective communication and compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Identifies, applies, and enforces applicable standards (e.g., government, industry, customer) to documentation ensuring product conformance and integrity.
• Interfaces with book bosses on an ongoing basis and coordinates with production services to ensure that the product meets its objectives, maintains focus, and to deliver the product successfully.
• Edits complex technical text (e.g., online, web-based, hard copy) applying appropriate writing styles and validating readability, functionality, and accuracy of the information to ensure consistency and clarity of communication; conceptualizes and negotiates approaches to content structure and design to ensure effective communication.
• Determines if content requires regulatory/security classification treatment, coordination, and/or approval.
