Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals and special reports, Statement of Work or any other customer deliverables and documents. Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology. Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Additional Knowledge and Skills:
1. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
2. Ability to analyze the needs of the target audience.
3. English Language skills- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning, spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher.
Experience Requirements: 6 years of technical writing related experience in a consulting setting. Experience developing and preparing complex technical publications utilizing state-of-the-art workstations, internal and external communications media, and software.
