We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to work on a long-term, well-established project.

Job Responsibilities:

- Writing documentation in a mainframe environment

- Writing clear, comprehensive, user-friendly, concise, and correct text for software users’ manuals, on-line help, technical guides, release notes, and installation instructions

- Editing and proofreading training guides, software enhancement requests, correspondence, and other miscellaneous documentation that customers see.

Experience Required:

- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technical writing experience

Education Required:

- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in English, Computer Science, or related field.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Excellent oral communication skills in addition to proven writing skills.  Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly through writing

- Must be able to plan, write, and edit technical documents from draft to final print

- Ability to work in a team setting, as well as independently

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word

- Must be authorized to work in the United States

 This is a nine (9) month project with possibility of extension.
