The Technical Writer is responsible for developing, writing and editing materials for proposals and other client deliverables.
Creates custom text according to the company standard format or a document’s specific requirements
As part of the proposal team, works with technical staff to document planned operating approach and details
Organizes materials and completes writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, format and terminology and using departmental version control procedures
Selects and/or participates in the development of photographs, drawings, diagrams and charts to illustrate material
Participates in the review and modification of proposal drafts
Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
