About the opportunity…

Due to an ongoing need, our corporate office is seeking a Technical Writer.

As part of the training and development department, you will be instrumental in developing technical documentation for Epicor.  The focus will be to develop online help, user guides, installation guides, release notes and technical references for Epicor products. Other responsibilities include building documentation content using HTML and XML authorizing tools, finalizing content using established standards, store content in the documentation system and release content to Epicor employees, customers and partners.

What you should bring to the table…..

At least 2 years technical writing experience.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science or Business.

Excellent writing skills.

Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.

Ability to interpret, write, organize, and edit technical material for easy and practical use by technical and non-technical readers.

Knowledge of MS product suite. HTML and XML authoring skills and screen capturing software a plus.

Hands on experience with XMetaL DITA, RoboHelp, and FrameMaker authoring tools a plus.

Familiarity with Epicor’s software products and/or other ERP software packages a plus.
