Telecommunications Project / Construction Manager

WIS is currently looking for experienced Telecommunications Project / Construction Manager with the following experience and qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements

·            Knowledge and experience directly related to telecommunications industry (fiber, construction, wireless, tower, microwave)

·            Experience performing site/bid walks, preparing job estimates, proposals, budget, SOW, BOM, and quotes

·            Experience planning, organizing and managing the execution of projects from conception to delivery including project team management, project resource management, material procurement, vendor management, safety enforcement, budget tracking, scheduling, project performance and overall quality, and development of project plans

·            Must have proven leadership skills, experience in end-to-end construction management, and can work within a fast-paced environment of constant change

·            Ability to establish and manage project schedules and communicate quality expectations

·            Effectively create and execute project plans, manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing business/client needs and requirements

·            Experience with subcontractor coordination and management to perform outsourced scopes of work

·            Demonstrated ability to work independently, resolve project related issues, and make decisions conducive to client, project deadline and budget and company goals of productivity and efficiency

·            Ability to review, analyze, and interpret field updates and photos and create reports and closeout packages on time per client specifications

·            Effectively and positively communicate and coordinate project logistics with vendors, subcontractors, crews, and clients.

·            Ability to obtain required project permits and licenses

·            Ability to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive project records

·            Experience and ability to effectively manage project costs, billing, and change orders

·            Excellent computer and typing skills. 

·            Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), MS Street & Trips

·            Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, stay organized, apply problem-solving abilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

·            Possess excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

·            Excellent customer service and client relations

Preferred Industry Training and Certifications

·            Degree / Certification in Project management or equivalent experience

·            Other safety and/or industry-related certifications a plus.
