Job Description
Modis is currently seeking a Project Manager with hands-on experience planning, directing and coordinates the development projects and tasks throughout their life cycle. A qualified candidate will be skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high quality and on-time performance of tasks.
Responsibilities / Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in project management of technical projects relating to telecommunications and/or data communications.
- Ability to secure and maintain Defense Department Security Clearance
- Manages staff to achieve milestone and budget objectives.
- Initiates, supports and participates in negotiations with prospective customers
- Analyzes situations and develops plans, delivery timelines and schedules, etc.
- Defines customer requirements and translates them into operational plans.
- Monitors and controls cost versus budget, plans versus performance and staffing requirements.
- Analyzes effects of projects upon various operating and support areas such as operations, engineering, purchasing, administration, etc., to determine the most practical and cost effective method to complete the project.
- Provides direction and guidance to project teams and management in the execution of projects including the formulation of contingency plans, such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, funding allocations, and priority alignment.
