If you're a seasoned telecommunications professional with strong client-facing skills and deep technical expertise you'll find a unique professional challenge here at LiveOps as our Telecom Sales Engineer and Implementation Manager. We provide innovative virtual, on-demand call center solutions and in this high profile role with us, you'll be our "go to" person for support on the telecommunications aspects of our offering, including lending your expert knowledge on pre-sales calls, managing the implementation, and providing post-sales support as the client's telephony requirements expand. We will also look to you to establish best practices for sales support and client implementations and to identify ways to expand and improve the telecommunications services we offer. Success in this role will be visible up through the highest levels of the organization as you’ll be directly impacting sales effectiveness and long-term client satisfaction.
Based ideally from one of our offices in Santa Clara, CA or Tempe, AZ, but potentially from a home office anywhere in the U.S., you will provide critical consultation on telecommunications for our clients through all phases of the client relationship. During pre-sales, you will support the sales team as a subject matter expert on all telecommunication-related aspects of the LiveOps platform. During client implementation process, you'll work with our sales and account management teams (or engage directly with key clients) to address questions on how LiveOps platform with integrate with the client's systems, and ensure all aspects of the telecommunications integration are completed successfully. Post launch, you will provide continued support as our clients' telecommunication requirements evolve and expand. These responsibilities may require a limited amount of travel (15% to 25%) to client sites. As a client-facing service delivery professional, you will also need to be on call for emergencies - we recognize the need for our employees to have private lives and down time so we strive to let your off duty time be quiet and undisturbed.
For success in this role, you will bring deep technical expertise in the field of telecommunications. Of primary importance is strong working knowledge of VoIP-based telecommunications as it is deployed within enterprises and within telecommunication carrier networks. You should also have strong knowledge of the public switched telephone network (PSTN) with particular focus on the toll-free service networks for key domestic carriers such as AT&T, Level 3, Qwest, Verizon Business, etc. Experience with international carrier solutions is a strong plus. Your effectiveness with your customers will be based on their confidence in your well rounded technical knowledge as well as your strong interpersonal and communication skills.
