VC3, an innovative, growing IT services solution provider, headquartered in Columbia, SC is seeking part-time telemarketers for our Columbia, SC office.  



Job Description:


This is a part-time position with flexible hours Monday through Friday, between 7:30am – 6:30pm. This position will make cold calls to set appointments with prospects for our Account Executives throughout the Southeastern United States. You must be able to assist our salespeople by getting through the gatekeepers to schedule appointments for our IT assessments, managed IT services, disaster recovery, and IT hardware and software. You must be willing to prospect by making up to 50 cold calls per day and be a good appointment setter. You should be creative and able to multitask. Experience/Education in Telecommunications or IT industry is helpful.   


 


·         Arrange face to face meetings with business customers for Account Executives.


·         Achieve goals (appointment setting quotas).


·         The right candidate will display outstanding interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and an outgoing personality.


 


Requirements:




  • Must have previous experience telemarketing in a cold calling environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Proficiency with email and general Internet navigation.

  • Working knowledge of sales process, including objection handling.

  • Outgoing personality.

  • Dependable.

  • Articulates ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.

  • Returns call and e-mails promptly.

  • Ability to regularly communicate status to clients, superiors, and peers.

  • Listens attentively and actively.

  • Demonstrates professionalism at all times.

  • Strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish work goals.

  • Self-motivated. Thrives on doing a job well!

Desired, but not required:



  • Working knowledge of CRM software (Microsoft CRM a plus)

  • Experience with technology sales.

  • Telecommunications/data technology knowledge.
