Override, created in July 2007, is a network of highly respected retail brands in the U.S. and Atlantic Canada that have teamed together to provide consumers an extraordinary opportunity to lower their individual price of gas at the pump. In New England, consumers can earn gas savings at 200 participating Shaw’s Supermarkets and 340 Dunkin’ Donuts locations, and redeem their savings at 240 participating Irving fuel locations and 200 Gulf Oil locations. In Atlantic Canada the program is offered at more than 80 Sobeys locations and 277 Irving locations. Override also launched its employee program by offering weekly savings to more than 9,000 L.L. In this position you will aggressively prepare proposals for new service agreements and renewals. Preference is given to those candidates with a successful history in media sales.  

 

SALES:

  • Call new prospects and gather the required information to sell Override’s two key products: Employee Benefits Product and The Override Small Business Network, card-based Gas Rewards Product
  • Quote service agreements
  • Close new agreements over the phone
  • Quote annual renewals and close renewal offers over the phone
  • Engage support of the Regional Sales Manager for larger or complex opportunities
  • Set up appointments for the Regional Sales Manager to close opportunities requiring face to face meetings

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

  • Responsible for being the single point of contact for the client
  • Responsible for managing the account performance and revenue stream
  • Responsible for delegating client request, i.e. tech support, scheduling and/or new equipment opportunities
  • Create demand for additional marketing services
  • Accurately forecast account sales and maintain pipeline opportunity reports.
  • Develop business relationships with larger regional Earn partners including Employers, Regional Brands and potential members of the Override Small Business Network.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • A.S. degree in Business or a related field, or a broad knowledge of the industry that Override competes in. Computer fluent, with specific attention to e-mail and Microsoft Office product skills; Saleforce.com CRM software experience a plus.
  • Strong preference give to those candidates with media sales experience
  • Preferred 2-5 years of related experience in a sales capacity

  • Ability to prioritize ones work and manage numerous simultaneous projects

  • Presentation skills
