Position Summary:


The Territory Account Manager in the Southwest Territory works directly with national and independent dealers and distributor sales representatives to optimize and grow sales opportunities and customer service levels within the territory. 


Essential Job Duties:



  • Heavy field sales
  • Develops a formula and strategy for new business, customer service support, growing existing business, and assisting dealers in promoting sales
  • Assists in determining customer needs, volume potential and forecasting
  • Provides detailed call reports and logs updating all account progress/history
  • Submit short- and long-term objectives for management's approval
  • Assists in representing company at trade shows, open houses, new store openings, and sales-related functions to promote product lines within the territory.  Follows up to maximize sales to contacts.
  • Provides input to design trends, manufacturing and operations to develop and provide products responsive to customer needs/demands, and market opportunities
  • Ensures that our products are properly displayed, competitively priced, clean, and positioned in optimum locations
  • Maintains communications with contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, marketing, and sales information for all product lines.  
  • Time management efficient.  Position requires time to be split between distributor sales reps and calling on dealers independently


Prior sales experience (5 yrs) is required with industry experience preferred.  Computer proficiency in


Word, Excel and Outlook.  Adaptability and ability to learn is essential.
