Territory Account Manager Location: Washington, DC
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution PLUS a minimum of five years enterprise sales experience. Must have software, storage, or security enterprise sales experience.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Maximizes revenues through high volume of account sales in designated geography across all verticals. Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment. Job typically requires high level of travel.
o Achieving the region's targeted customer growth and revenue targets to ensure a profitable business for the company
o Develop and manage complete list of installed base accounts in region, as well as targeted prospective accounts. Must be proficient in developing account strategies, cold calling, creating customer relationships, and accelerating engagements to open new accounts, and close enterprise license agreements
o Overseeing key channel partnerships in region, specifically with regional carrier operator sales teams. Relationships lead to co-sell engagements on shared account lists
o Close cooperation with outsourced renewals team and lead generation teams, as well as Strategic Account team as accounts grow
o Must be able to perform sales presentations via Webex and in person
o Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients, over the phone and in person
Specific Knowledge/Skills
o Proven strong sales and negotiation skills
o Proven ability to work independently and remotely
o Deep understanding of the enterprise market space
o Understanding of the mobile operator business
o Public speaking experience
o Proven ability to conduct business at all levels within enterprise organizations from the senior executives and line of business leaders to various roles within IT
o Knowledge of wireless/mobile landscape a plus (vendors, devices, carriers, security, etc.)
o Knowledge of software applications a plus (vendors, development process, architecture, etc.)
