Territory Manager

Primary Responsibility:
Territory Manager responsibilities include managing an account base of retail stores throughout specified geographic area. 

 

TERRITORY COVERS OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS - Travel is required.


General education degree (GED) required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in field sales and/or managing an account base. Knowledge of category management and DSD operations required. Bachelors degree preferred. Valid driver's license required. Proficiency with MS Office required.

Essential Functions:


Develop business relationships at assigned accounts and provide these accounts with information about selling, profitability and placement of our  products.
•    Increase promotional activity, sales volume and profitability of assigned accounts.
•    Responsible for maintenance of product placing and facing on store shelves.
•    Other duties and special projects as requested.
•    Must maintain good attendance.
•    Maintain safe work practices.
•    Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
Ability to present for sales a wide variety of products. Must have solid marketing and analytical ability. Ability to understand retailer and customer preferences to select products to recommend. Must have demonstrated leadership skills with a track record on increasing responsibility and achieving positive business results along with highly effective facilitation, presentation and other communication skills. Understanding of sales process and methods to influence decision makers. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to follow information in a schematic format. Strong organization and time management and communication skills. Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision. Excellent grammar, verbal and writing skills. Above average presentation skills. High energy level. Comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
