SUMMARY OF ROLE
* This is a virtual position (work from your home office) based in Seattle, WA.
The Territory Manager’s function is to physically call dental offices to detail products, service existing accounts, expand product usage in existing accounts, prospect new business opportunities, compile market data; and sell the family of Discus brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell and market Discus Dental comprehensive product & service offerings utilizing a consultative sales methodology
- Multiply existing client base and infiltrate new accounts
- Gather comprehensive intelligence on competition, new and existing accounts
- Maintain contact management software daily
- Work regional tradeshows, lectures, and seminars
- Foster a rich working relationship with account base
- Executive timely administrative practices such as expense reporting, requested tracking, communication with supervisor and account follow-up on a daily basis
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE at least two to four years of outside sales experience
- Sales experience in industries that have medium to complex sales cycles
- Sales experience in medical and/or dental industries preferable
- Possess a track record of exceeding quota. Consistently be the top sales rep in your respective organization.
- Possess relevant sales awards and have attended sales training classes and earned respective certifications, etc.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university
