Well known and established coffee distribution company providing products and service to Food Service, Restaurants, Hotels, banquets, country clubs, etc is seeking a customer-focused individual to join our expanding team as a Territory Route Manager.  Base is $35,000 plus commission.

In this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Ensuring sales growth and overall profitability of our services by maintaining and building the territory for specialty coffee and tea products and service. 
  • The Territory Manager will then influence the sales process with qualification, product knowledge, solutions and superior closing skills.
  • With an entrepreneurial spirit, the Territory Manager also manages all aspects of running a sales territory including follow up, research, strategies, proposal preparation, negotiations and maintaining their database

Skills and Qualifications:



  • Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships with corporate customers
  • Proven successful track record in achieving and exceeding organizational sales goals.
  • Experience managing accounts and targeting prospects within defined route.
  • Expedite shipments when necessary, and provide various other types and levels of ongoing customer service.
  • Persuasive negotiator with ability to clearly communicate goals, interests, and positions during discussions.
  • Expand opportunities by asking existing customers for referrals, and by research to find prospects not already in the database
  • Demonstrated successful problem solving skills and good judgment
  • Experience managing multiple units and store managers is ideal
  • Limited travel, which may include trade shows or site visits to meet with clients or prospective clients
