Territory Sales Representative
I. Job Description:
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for generating revenue growth by selling new business and retaining existing business in defined geographical area. New business is generated by utilizing an organized business to business selling approach that features the benefits of forming long term business relationships with EWS. In addition relationships are developed and grown with existing customers through a proactive retention effort.
II. Reporting
The Territory Sales Representative reports directly to the Market Area Sales Manager.
III. Main Responsibilities and Task to Perform Job:
• Ensures all existing customers are satisfied with service by understanding customers needs and communicates any concerns to the proper department.
• Handles all cancelation requests in a timely matter and effectively negotiates new contracts when necessary.
• Meets or exceeds sales goals in generating new profitable business.
• Develops a strong industry knowledge allowing them to become industry experts to their customers or potential customers.
• Master and utilize all company sponsored tools such as: Goldmine, Trux, MapPoint and any other tools.
IV. Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent outside business to business sales experience.
• Ability to build and develop relationships
• Effectively communicate
• Negotiate price and contract terms
• Work in and organized manor
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new computer programs
