Multi-million dollar veterinary distributor seeks a professional and driven Territory Sales Manager for our Michigan markets. Successful candidates must have no less than 3 years of successful outside sales experience of tangible products. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Veterinary related product knowledge desired. Veterinary technician background a plus. Must have exceptional organizational abilities, good work ethic and able to handle stress and deadlines. Must have the ability to learn complicated product knowledge, technical information, and able to communicate this knowledge on various levels, including veterinarians and technicians. Excellent interpersonal skills are of utmost importance.
Job Description: Territory Manager
*Maintain and grow territory with 120-140 accounts
*Accomplish corporate budgets and goals
*Must be able to sell veterinarian products, biological, sundries, pharmaceuticals and capitol equipment to licensed small and large animal veterinary practices.
*Required study of company product lines and equipment
*Develop relationships with our manufacturer representatives
*Provide best customer service in the veterinary industry
*Work closely with inside sales force and other internal departments in servicing our accounts
*Must attend company sponsored meetings when requested
*Must attend trade shows and vendor/regional meetings
*Must attend annual national sales meeting
*Extensive (up to 100%) travel within the territory
