Territory Sales Professional - Branded Packaged Foods
Portland
Our client is packaged foods Company manufacturing and marketing their own brands of natural, convenience, specialty foods, with a national distribution network in natural and mainstream grocery & supermarket accounts across the country.
The company is planning to add sales professionals in some of the regions and is looking to recruit a sales professional in the Portland area for grocery, convenience and natural food channels. (Other locations include San Francisco, Boston, New York and Chicago.)
The Job: The person will be the face of the company, call on stores, ensure merchandising, fix shelf displays, build relationships with broker network, monitor competitive activity etc. The person will work 30-35 hours in assigned sales locations and the remaining from his/her home office.
The position reports to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications: College degree with 1-3 years in branded packaged food sales or consumer packaged goods to grocery and convenience channels. Must be willing to travel frequently, with overnight stays.
Compensation: Around 50K plus bonus and benefits. The company offers an excellent work environment.
