We are currently looking for a sharp, energetic and ambitious individual to join our team. We have a great career opportunity in our Provo, Utah office for a Vice President of Professional Services.
Essential Functions:
•Ensure successful implementation of all ILS projects by managing Professional Services department and interacting closely with Sales, Finance, Development, and Client Care organizations.
•Develop and present revenue, profitability, and billable utilization forecasts for Professional Services and SaaS businesses. Work with team to reduce time and cost of implementations to ensure business success.
•Carry forward mission and purpose for the Professional Services department.
•Manage several highly professional directors and teams on a global basis, including Implementation Services and Data Services, Project Management, Consulting, and Training
•Standardize, automate and publish department processes and product information to all Professional Services departments.
•Proactively meet with other departments to ensure that Professional Services processes interface well with their procedures.
•Provide continual evaluation of Implementation processes and how they relate to Company, Customer and Departmental goals. Proactively adjust process and procedures as required.
•Escalate customer or inter-company process issues to senior management.
•Drive performance of Professional Services organization
•Compile regular revenue, profitability, utilization, and performance metrics reports
•Inspire all team members with a strong customer service orientation
•Conduct staff performance evaluations
•Attend on-site customer visits and conference events as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
•Strong revenue generation and profit attainment orientation
•Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
•Ability to quickly learn and understand the products we sell
•Strong customer service orientation, written/verbal communication skills
•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
•Negotiation and diplomacy skills for interfacing with customers and other departments
Education
•BA/BS Degree in Business Management or Business Administration
Experience
•5+ years experience with full service software implementations, including Project management, Installations, Data Services, Product Configuration, and Training
•5 years managing a professional staff.
•At least 1 year Customer service experience is required.
•Library experience and experience within the company or other library vendor companies is helpful.
•Approximately 30% travel is required
