District Sales Manager - Consumer Electronics

This position requires Extensive Traveling

The territory is Phoenix,AZ, Idaho Falls,ID, Des Moines, IA, Salt Lake City, UT.

The Position:  The District Sales Manager functions as the execution and communication leaders for a Client-based field support program. As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of field specialists and partnering with call center management and employees nationwide to drive increased sales.  The District Sales Manager will be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of the sales specialist team, managing all aspects of their training and execution, as well as daily active management, completion of all reports and overall performance to the goals and metrics of the program. The District Sales Manager has previous experience in sales, training, managing a remote field staff, cable/Telecommunications experience, and call center environment.


 


Key Responsibilities:


·         Driving sales nationwide through flawless execution and effective results management


·         Overall program management of all designated field specialists in your assigned region


·         Effectively planning, managing, and executing all client programs in your respective program and territory


·         Develop and manage incentive programs to motivate and reward strong sales performance throughout your region


·         Working closely with the Account Manager to develop strategies for retention, hiring and maximizing utilization within your assigned Region


 


 


 Required Skills and Qualifications:


 



  • 5+ years of consumer products/electronics team management experience with strategic sales, inventory, merchandising and/or training experience (P&L responsibility and multi unit experience a plus)
  • Experience in hiring, performance managing and motivating a geographically diverse team of trainers, sales and support personnel
  • Experience in telecommunications services highly desired
  • The ability to develop and foster strong relationships at client accounts and to coach and support field team members
  • Highly effective business management and organizational skills with a emphasis on effective communications, team leadership, motivation, development, training and sales performance
  • Proficient knowledge in Windows and MS Office (specifically Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to drive measurable, sustainable results
  • Effective, proven leadership skills and the ability to build morale and motivate a field based team to achieve program goals and objectives

 


Education: 


·         Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent applicable work experience


 


 


Travel Requirements:


·         Up to 75%, must be a Road Warrior
