| Position SummaryThe Test Development Director has overall responsibility for all test development activities and deliverables. This position will work with the director of Content Design and Development and the assigned corporate contract operational divisional leadership, ensuring all project deliverables are accomplished with high quality and within a given time table. Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee and lead the test development process and protocols. Work with the client, subcontractors, content managers, lead developers, and Content Design and Development division director to define, refine, and maintain the process.
- Working with local and remote resources, help to oversee the day-to-day operational test development work for contracts and associated deliverables.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the client and all interfacing internal Measured Progress divisions (Publishing, Scoring, Client Services and Data and Reporting Services).
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and Measured Progress on all test development issues.
- Working with content area managers, subcontractors, and the client, establish and monitor schedules for all test development activities, including working with online authoring and item banking system.
- Attend committee meetings as needed.
- Assure Content Design and Development involvement in the quality control of subcontractor items and test forms, as necessary.
- Travel to client states and subcontractors locations as needed.
| Qualifications- Master's degree in education, assessment, or an applicable discipline with a minimum of five years of experience in assessment related activities
