Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and produce special tooling, fixtures, and gauges to manufacture and machined parts.

• Minimum 10 years experience working in CNC lathe & mill manufacturing environment (no degree required).
• Experience with 4-8 axis lathes and mills.
• Must be experienced with Gibbs CAM CNC programming language.
• Must be experienced with Kubotek KeyCreator (formerly Cadkey).
• This is a hands-on role which requires the engineer to go on the floor and mount their fixtures to machines at times.
• Recommend and implement improvements to design processes, methods, and controls.
• Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
• Integrate standard and custom designs into a unified system; take a project from concept to production.
