Adecco Engineering & Technical Services, a division of Adecco, the world's largest staffing provider, has an immediate need for TEST and REPAIR OPERATORS. This is for a large nationally known client company located in Louisville Kentucky. This position is LONG TERM TEMPORARY but also has a chance of becoming PERMANENT depending on performance and reliability. The PAY RATE is 12.10 for second and third shift and 11.60 for first shift. All shifts available.
Candidates are responsible for completing daily assignments and follows detailed procedures to accurately diagnose, test and repair (to the modular level) the customer's failed product within standard times. Equipment is entered into a PC based database maintaining integrity of customer's product information. Must be able to work within a team environment and demonstrate cooperation within the work group and management. Ability to read/follow detailed oral and written procedures and demonstrates mechanical aptitude. Follows detailed procedures and seeks guidance as necessary from a supervisor or higher level technician. Supervisor and/or higher level technician will audit work completed by TRO's. Problem solving occurs as a regular part of the job and may require basic research and analysis. Established procedures and guidelines usually exist. Routine and regular contact with employees within and outside of work unit requiring explanation, discussion and interpretation. Some contacts with vendors and customers outside of the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred candidates will have electronic repair experience, electronics degree and/or military electronics experience. Candidates who are currently attending school for Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) degree or Computer Engineering Technology (CET) will also be considered.
* Ability to perform entry-level component repair
* Troubleshooting and PC tech work experience
* Self Motivated with excellent verbal and written skills
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
