Electronics Test Technician
Today, you might be running a test to evaluate performance. Tomorrow, you'll be reporting the results from the testing to your supervising Engineer. And, you might participate in a team activity to prototype new equipment for future testing. You may also present your key findings and observations from your testing with your supervisor to ensure the proper tasks are being completed and the appropriate level of progress is being made on your project.
What You Will Do:
• Technician will be accountable for developing test plans, executing test plans, recording results, and reporting test data to his engineering supervisors. Technician will provide feedback on the qualitative results of the testing and how improvements can be made based on his observations.
• Technician will aid in the prototyping of new components. Technician will provide guidance on how to create new innovative prototypes. Technician will create prototypes from stated or written plans. Technician will test prototypes and record results for a report.
• Technician will aid the systems lab with the setup of machines for testing. This may involve the disassembly and assembly of machines in order to configure it appropriately for the test.
