JOB PURPOSE:
The Therapeutic Mentor provides one on one guidance to individuals and their families. These services are provided in the patient’s home, school, or community center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides structured, one-to-one, strength based support to an individual for the purpose of addressing daily living, social, and communication needs. Services include supporting, coaching and training the individual in age appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution, and relating appropriately to others. Support is based on behavioral health treatment plan developed by an outpatient, or in-home therapy provider. The therapeutic mentor ensures the individual’s success in navigating various social contexts, learning new skills and making functional progress while under supervision.

• Minimum of one year experience providing mentoring/counseling
• High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelors in Human Services, Pscyhology, or related field prefer ed
