Matheson Trucking, Inc. is seeking a Tractor/Trailer Technician in our Hayward, CA. shop.  A qualified candidate will have:

• Must have at least 5 years experience as class 6, 7 & 8 tractor and diesel   technician and as a heavy duty trailer technician (will substitute technical school experience)
  
• Must be proficient with Air tools, including riveting tools and body repair tools
  
• Must be proficient with CAT, Cummins, Mack, Detroit and International Engines
  
• Must be proficient with Heavy Duty Air Brakes
  
• Prefer ASE certifications T1-T8, E3 and any other diesel ASE’s
  
• Prefer ITEP training, Mercedes Benz Elite Training or Ford FACT training
  
• Must be able to perform repairs from preventative maintenance up to major component replacement
  
• Must be personal computer proficient
  
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  
• Must be self starter and self motivated
  
• Must be able to work a flexible shift
  
• Must have own tools
