The North American headquarters of an international  cargo shipping company is presently looking to add Trade Analyst to our Car Carrier - Trade Management Team.  The essential functions of the job include:

  Represents trade management in various logistics meetings.
  
  
• 
  
  Assists the Trade Manager in monitoring vessel utilization on a booking level to maximize the available space.
  
  
• 
  
  Monitors daily booking information to ensure correct routings and trade decisions.
  
  
• Produces daily booking activity summary reports and daily vessel forecasts using booking data.
  
• Analyzes cargo mix results on a vessel and cumulative basis by equipment type and trade area.
  
• Completes contribution analyses on new and existing traffic required.
  
• 
  
  Ensure that the cargo load is correct by reconciling with internal reports from the Agency.
  
  
• 
  
  Keep contact with customers to ensure a proper service is being provided.

Three to five years experience in a related field is required with experience in transportation trade analysis, negotiation (prefer ocean conference), maritime regulatory (ICC & FMC).
