Minimum Requirements:
Manage and drive improvements to the strategic & operational activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) on a global basis including responsibility to implement, coordinate, & ensure consistent trade compliance practices for the business.
Participate in trade compliance discussions at the business, group, and corporate levels on a global basis.
Develop programs/processes to support achievement of a world-class trade organization.
Drive and support trade compliance cost savings initiatives throughout the NPI process and related activities.
Interact with various global organizations and levels, i.e. division Logistics & Trade Compliance team, EPM and Corporate Trade Compliance and legal teams on trade compliance related activities.
Plan, develop, and conduct trade compliance related training.
Knowledge - Government regulations, practices, & trends as it applies to U.S. Customs and International Trade laws, US Bureau of Industry, and Security law.
Education requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business or Supply Chain Management. Seven years of Trade Compliance or export related experience required. US Customs Brokers license, a plus
This position is located in (Austin, TX) and relocation assistance is not available. Approximately 10% travel is expected.
