Our client, a leading IT services and solutions consulting company, is seeking an IT Systems Subject Matter Expert to support a U.S. Government client’s medical information technology enhancement project in North Charleston, SC.

As a Subject Matter Expert your responsibilities will include:
- Providing subject matter expertise in the development of a level I and level II support infrastructure for multi-location, fielded medical applications and toolsets, as well as sustainment of a centralized component by using proven methodologies based on demonstrated past performance of similar requirements
- Interacting with customers/stakeholders and other team members on a daily basis in regards to collecting requirements, developing the system architecture, and mapping out the system strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Information Technology to include three of the following areas:
- Systems Requirements, project management and strategic planning, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, VA and Health and Human Services medical, Army, Maritime, Air Force Medical & Air Force Surgeon General, and Military Health Service IT programs, Operational Requirements, Enterprise Strategic Planning, Unix/Linux system software, Test & Evaluation, and Training
- Technical Training in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Medical Systems, Network Design, Strategic Planning, and/or HIPAA law.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of the following:
- Medical systems; advanced system architecture; information assurance; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and ERP.
- Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge DOD military specifications and standards.
- System design integration and ability to establish and lead installation requirements and procedures.
- Hardware and software Evaluation
- System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and management.
- System requirements analysis.
- Technical development product milestone scheduling.
- Understanding of FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements.
- Services Oriented Architecture design and development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Solid experience with Medical Systems in a DoD environment strongly preferred
- Holds CompTIA Security+ certification
