We are looking for a Maintenance Worker to work in our Product Development Center in Montvale, NJ, performing duties in a research and development laboratory and office environment, in one or more of the following trades - electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, heating and air conditioning, and welding.

We are looking for a Maintenance Worker to work in our Product Development Center in Montvale, NJ, performing duties in a research and development laboratory and office environment, in one or more of the following trades - electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, heating and air conditioning, and welding.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electric wiring, fixtures and equipment.
- Install and relocate outlets, telephone and computer cables; replace fuses, sockets, bulbs and switches.
- Repair and build laboratory equipment.
- Maintain and repair building electrical and mechanical equipment such as exhaust fans, HVAC equipment, motors and pumps.
- Make plumbing repairs to heating system, pneumatic controls and lavatories.
- Perform necessary carpentry duties to make general office renovations; build and remove system furniture.
- Repair office furniture, locks, desk drawers, etc.
- Repair carpets, tiles and other flooring surfaces.
- Remove snow, salt and sand from sidewalks.
- Perform all special projects or related work as required by supervisor.
Equipment Operation
- Company truck.
- A wide variety of hand and power tools commonly used in building trades.
- Operate boilers, air conditioning equipment.
- 5 to 7 years utilizing a variety of building trade skills in an R&D / Office facility.
- Valid drivers license.
- Operate independently with limited supervision.
- Flexibility and initiative desirable.
- Incumbent must be flexible and available to work overtime and be on call.
- Must be willing to work outdoors.
