The Opportunity
Ritchie Bros.
Auctioneers is seeking highly-motivated, energetic, and reliable ‘blank canvas’
to join our team as a Trainee Territory Manager.  This position
will be based in Denver initially, with the possibility of

consists of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada,
Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington.

and every encounter”, will be your success factors.  This is a chance to get in
on the ground floor of an exciting and rewarding sales career with Ritchie Bros.
You bring your passion for the “Big Iron” and your desire to succeed in sales
and business and we’ll teach you all that we can about everything our global
business has to offer.

The Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have these attributes:

  • Graduation from a post-secondary education program within the
    past two years.

  • Some work experience under your belt; if you have experience in
equipment sales or rentals or inside sales, that’s even better.

  • You will sell us on the idea that you’ve got “iron in your
blood”.  Maybe you grew up on a farm or ranch, or you’ve worked in
    construction

  • before and you love being around heavy equipment.
  • You will sell us on the idea that you’re willing and eager to
learn everything you don’t know about heavy equipment and trucks.

  • You have a proven entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You have a passion for people and sales, and everywhere you’ve
worked, you’ve cared for the business like it was your own.

  • You have great communication skills and the ability to think on
    your feet.

  • You’re comfortable with technology and learning new software
    systems.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • You have the drive to meet or exceed goals without ever
sacrificing integrity - at Ritchie Bros., closing a deal is secondary to
developing and maintaining honest customer relationships.

  • Overtime is often required in this role.
  • Travel is a big part of this role and will be required up to
    50% of the time.
