Responsibilities

The SR. HR Project Specialist on the Global HR Direct Training & Communications team provides global rollouts and trainings on policies, processes and tools for Symantec managers and employees as well as assistance in training and communications for the HR Direct organization.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage logistics, facilitation, (occasional) content development and delivery of HR Direct trainings and company rollouts, primarily through Live Meeting and WebEx

• Facilitate and/ or create content and resources for extended HR Direct Organization for ongoing skill building

• Interface and partner with regional training partners and other functional groups

• Provide ongoing customer service and skill development trainings for regional HR HelpDesks

• Responsible for completing significant planning and implementing of communications, training and schedule setting to ensure that functional organizations and locations receive adequate information to follow through on required actions

• Drive Global consistency and provide solutions for HR Direct Training and
Communications

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to present and facilitate trainings through Live Meeting and WebEx
• Innovative, creative thinking, resourceful
• Ability to prioritize and qualify
• Positive attitude for teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to work with virtual teams
• Ability to create written communications with limited information as well as
edit, review and consult on written communications
• Ability to work independently on routine work and with general instructions
on new assignments
• Ability to design ppts with content foundation provided and present with team
of Subject Matter Experts
• Advance Powerpoint skills, Live Meetingand WebEx
• Able to drive projects to completion while using discretion with confidential
information
• Adapts to change easily

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent work experience

4-6 years of HR experience, as an HR Generalist or Trainer
