IEM is a mid-sized, growing government solutions firm with a 24 year track record of success. The company is headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA with 7 other offices across the country. We are currently seeking a Training Evaluation Team Manager for the Anniston, AL office.

Responsibilities



  • Responsible for managing independent total program evaluation of the CDP.

  • Responsible for managing contract’s performance work statement to meet all specified requirements on time and in budget.

  • Responsible for direct management of a staff of 11.

  • Responsible for Kilpatrick Level 1 & 2 evaluations.

  • Responsible for development of new first responder/receiver training needs assessments and new course abstracts.

  • Responsible for instructor auditing.

  • Responsible for curriculum review.

  • Responsible for Level 2 test item analysis.

  • Responsible for establishing Level 3 evaluation and analysis program.

  • Manage and develop the training evaluation and program evaluation for FEMA's Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP). Training evaluation includes curriculum, training materials, delivery, instructors and students (25,000 residents and 25,000+ non-residents).

  • Responsible for research and development of new course abstracts.

  • Coordinate with world class subject matter experts evaluating training programs of instructions.

  • Oversees psychometric activities from multiple examination programs with multiple forms of assessment and measurement instruments.

  • Oversees evaluation methods and program development, including research blueprints and evaluation specifications.

  • Conducts all evaluation-related analyses Manages all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual evaluation reports.

Required Skills



  • Demonstrated Conflict management and resolution skills.

  • Kirkpatrick Levels of analysis.

  • Statistical skills and tools for Kirkpatrick analysis, etc.

  • Functional usage of MicroSoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Good listening skills – ability to identify critical customer needs.

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills – ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and speak comfortably in front of different levels of the organization.

  • Ability to organize and write clear, concise technical reports for delivery to customers.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment with individuals from diverse areas of specialization.

  • Ability to efficiently apply existing knowledge as well as assimilate new material quickly and apply it across a broad range of projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks.

  • Project management or team leadership skills desired.

Qualifications



  • Doctorate in Psychometrician or Education Program evaluation field of study desired.

  • Eligibility to obtain security clearance required.
