Summary
The Training & Investigations Specialist leads the company's training function, to include developing training content, maintaining the company's learning management system, and delivering training to all company locations through the LMS, other media, and in person. This position also will conduct sensitive employment investigations.


Core Duties
• Assess training content and program needs corporate- wide in a collaborative effort with corporate and subsidiary human resources, operations, legal, and other stakeholders. Meet those needs with corporate training content and programs developed in house and procured off-the-shelf. Maintain content and programs to stay abreast of external and internal developments. Provide guidance and support to subsidiaries for developing subsidiary-specific training content.

• Evaluate effectiveness of training through assessments of recipients' pre and post training knowledge and performance relative to desired outcomes. As appropriate, make or recommend changes to Chenega training programs.

• Administer the corporation's learning management system, to include evaluating effectiveness and value, participating in the selection process for new applications, configuring the system to Chenega's needs, coordinating the integration with other applications, performing day-to-day system administration, managing the vendor relationship, and providing support to management and employee users.

• Coordinate delivery and tracking of training through various channels, to include the internet, intranet, phone, in person internal and external subject matter experts, and in personally.

• Conduct investigations into employment matters, such as complaints made to Chenega's internal reporting system or those made with agencies such as EEOC, DOL, OFCCP, and others. Interview employees and related parties, document facts, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management. Participate in follow up and correction actions, to include providing training and making adjustments to Chenega's training program to mitigate future risk.

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports of activiites

• Travel to company locations in order to deliver training products and conduct investigations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Coursework specific to training and investigations are preferred. SHRM certification and credible training and investigation certifications are preferred.

Six years of human resources or operations experience. Of that experience, at least four years must have involved direct responsibility for development and delivery of training programs, and at least some experience in conducting employment investigations.

Advanced interpersonal skills required, in addition to excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
