Training Manager

About the Job

NGP Management, LLC is an established and franchisee of Dunkin' Brands.  We currently operate 122 store locations throughout Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.  Our Corporate office is located in North Reading, MA.


 


We are currently seeking a qualified Training Manager. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Training Store Manager in the implementing of all training programs, operating standards policies and procedures via different training media and monitor development activities to ensure progress. In addition you will evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of training and development programs to determine extent of knowledge and adjust programs as needed to ensure maximum benefit.


 


Primary Responsibilities:


·         Collaborates with Training Store Manager in the preparation and development of Managers-in-Training as well as the readiness of the training store to meet Dunkin’ Brands and NGP Management, LLC operating standards as they will be taught to Managers-in-Training, and in nurturing an environment of learning and mentoring.


·         Facilitates 5-week Manager-in-Training (MIT) program, customizing as needed for performance and experience levels.


·         Facilitates hands-on training in all aspects of the role being trained, evaluates performance, customizes as needed.


·         Facilitates classroom sessions targeting specific skills and procedures for MITs and existent managers.


·         Documents all MIT performance, through progress reports and proficiency checklists; improves tracking methodologies and tools.


·         Coaches all MITs throughout course of training, providing targeted steps for improvement and/or recommendations for continuing training endeavors for each trainee.


Skills and Qualifications:


·         Maximizes opportunities for learning, outside the regular program, in effort to best prepare MITs for their operational roles


·         Demonstrates a passion for the development of others, by providing mentoring and role-modeling managerial behavior


·         Demonstrates initiative in piloting programs and training endeavors, assisting the “seed store” for all other stores in the franchise network, and supporting roll-outs organization-wide


·         QSR experience a plus.


·         Food Service background preferred.


·         Candidate must have considerable training and operational experience.
