Training Specialist (FC) Chambersburg, PA
As a Training Specialist you will deliver and implement training programs and materials that support SOP’s (standard operating procedures), major company goals and objectives in the NAD Fulfillment Centers and/or Staples Delivery Operations by working with associates, managers, and internal departments at all levels to ensure successful implementation of Staples logistics training initiatives.
• Oversee daily implementation of skill and procedural based training programs within the Fulfillment Centers and/or Staples Delivery Operations • Conduct train-the-trainer programs to ensure all trainers are properly delivering the programs • Master complex subject matter to support all departments within the Fulfillment Center and/or Staples Delivery Operations • Maintain proficiency in the systems and procedures underlying the training programs • Work directly with diverse operational units to gain specific, current knowledge of the business unit in order to serve as a credible training resource • Make real-time decisions with managers/supervisors, and other Staples associates to adapt actual training delivery and implementation to varied situations as needed • Recommend changes and adaptations to training materials/programs based on actual experience gained when implementing • Communicate with key operational stakeholders to deliver effective training. May serve as a Project Leader in the implementation of specified training programs • Work and partner with Supervisory staff to ensure reinforcement of key learning’s supporting the SOP’s • Administer tools to measure effectiveness of training programs and required associate skill compliance. Makes recommendations based on these measurements • Provide liaison to LP (Loss Prevention) on audit results and subsequent training
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum two (2) years training experience preferred • Must be bilingual English/Spanish • Excellent platform skills required • Knowledge and experience with the Staples North American Delivery functions preferred • Demonstrated ability to work well with people of all levels within the organization • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required • Excellent organizational and time management skills
