Training Specialist II

The Field Training Specialist will perform in-house training on products for customers and regional personnel, and, provide formal training using courseware developed or approved by corporate course development for delivery to customers and service personnel. Principal Responsibilities: Identify and work with the corporate training team to develop new course materials to meet field requirements. Partner with sales organization to ensure understanding of training product offerings and to promote sales of education. Provide product training to employees as required and approved by Management. Tailor formal courseware as required to meet customer specifications as approved by management. Function as primary contact for all training related activities, materials, and correspondence for the region. Keep current on new products, industry trends, and customers training needs. Achieve and maintain certification in specific courses as directed by management. Solicit course evaluations and develop skills to improved teaching and training methods. Assist management with determining specific product training plans for the field service. Provide after hour availability as required to meet business requirements.

Minimum of 4-6 years as a trainer in a similar environment Experience with nurse or clinical worker scheduling systems for hospitals or long-term care facilities is required. Experience with employee scheduling for other industries is a plus Demonstrated proficiency in training delivery and support of various software applications in multiple environments . Excellent written and verbal presentation skills Experience in communicating technical and project information in a business context Strong customer relations, time management, and organizational skills Ability and willingness to travel up to 90%

 

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a Business or Healthcare discipline preferred
