Since 2001, Grifols has acquired 80 plasmapheresis donor centers within the USA. General Description

The Training and Technical Specialist will directly support the facilitation and delivery of training activities at the Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis in Glendale, AZ., and provide technical expertise in developing programs for adult learners involving interactive skill-building and web based learning methods.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direct supervision of the Academy Manager, the Training and Technical Specialist will provide the following professional development assistance:

1.  Writing, editing, and converting informational materials, including training curricula to e-learning web based training courses developed for adult learners

2.  Assist the Manager in facilitating training, as needed, following the curriculum guidelines of course studies at the Academy

 3.  Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems which stimulates the morale and productivity within the Academy

4.  Become familiar with State and Federal regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP

5.  Assist with the dissemination of information on key topics to target audiences using the internet and innovative technology methods

6.  Strategize and troubleshoot with Academy Staff in developing content and materials to facilitate the delivery of training to participants

7.  Facilitate project teamwork and collaborate to continuously improve program development and conversion quality

8.  Keep Academy Manager informed of project progress and any irregularities within the Academy and provide constructive information about process improvements

9.  Deliver technical support and training assistance

10.  Minimize Academy’s  liability through constant risk management review

11.  Other duties as assigned

12.  Possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate a solid understanding of adult learning theory and interactive skill building



Required Skills

Physical requirements

  1. Must have legible handwriting.
  2. Must have an aptitude to operate computer software/hardware.
  3. Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
  4. Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
  5. Must be able to stand up to 4 hrs at one time

 

 



Required Experience

  1. BS/BA that included classes in computer science; specific to skills with Internet and World Wide Web uses; Microsoft, Power Point,  Access, Excel, Articulate, Adobe Acrobat, Flash and other data base applications.
  2. Experience with set up, operation and maintenance of audio visual resources
  3. Background and / or training in education or medical
