Business Unit Overview:
Tax provides comprehensive tax services and specialized expertise to businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit and governmental entities and associations. Comprehensive services include compliance (preparation), planning and consulting and various outsourcing projects. Tax serves clients in all fields, with particular emphasis in manufacturing, financial institutions, distribution, agribusiness, construction, healthcare, exempt organizations and private equity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: consulting with the international group on relevant transfer pricing matters; researching transfer pricing issues and opportunities; managing and coordinating the transfer pricing services of Horwath International member firms when consulted; and developing a team with expertise in transfer pricing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market and sell transfer pricing studies to prospective clients
Oversee transfer pricing services within a particular geographic region
Manage, prepare and deliver transfer pricing studies
Manage junior staff in preparing economic, financial and industry analyses
Participate and lead functional analysis interviews
Value intangible assets and perform financial modeling
Liaise with tax and transfer pricing specialists within the global transfer pricing alliance
Mentor and train junior transfer pricing personnel
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of 6 years in transfer pricing.
Some international tax experience desirable.
Proven engagement and staff management skills.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to interact with all levels of client management, referral sources and other professionals.
