The successful candidate will be responsible for: maintaining database of current regional power flow; performs analysis on the impacts of various transmission and generation related developmental changes; evaluates impacts of future generation and transmission development on existing portfolio assets; explains congested related events and forecasts how transmission congestion may impact current and future generation development plans.
Experience with power markets and ISO/RTO operations, LGIP related study methodology and processes, proficiency in performing transmission analysis using PSS/E or equivalent. An understanding of production costing simulation software such as GE WM--MAPS, Promod, Aurora, Dayzer.
Bachelor of Science required. Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 or more years of transmission experience required.
