Transmission Line Engineer - Electric power industry
Description:
Rapidly expanding company in the distribution and transmission of electric power to major utility customers is seeking a transmission line engineer with high voltage transmission projects experience (through 500kV). Utilizing project management experience, the position responsibility will include developing the engineering deliverables for electric transmission projects, including line routing, structure selection and design, hardware and conductor selection, and all associated calculations. Directing the flow of designer and drafting duties, insuring time schedules are met, and multiple other project management responsibility will be included.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
*Bachelor of Science or Engineering; BSCE or BSEE preferred
*Equally adept at PLS-CAS, structural tower design (PLS-Pole/Tower) and foundations analysis
*NESC code requirements knowledge and transmission and design software experience
*Teamwork and organization skills, along with excellent communication skills
*Experience working with the utility industry a must
* Highly desired PE license
